Does my school have a right to ask for my parents income tax returns?

I'm going to Kent State University. My EFC is above my 'financial need'. All that I expect to get is a parent PLUS loan. i am putting my older benz back on the road and had to replace battery and other things. The last time i drove the car i noticed my aftermarket eclipse deck was having some problems reading the disc i would get errors but sometimes it would play. Not sure why you think "horrifically bad" but I got the picture. The purpose of telling a story, be it fiction or non, is to communicate a thought or idea. I thought it was very descriptive of the details and created a scenario I could see in my head and almost experience with my senses. You gave enough detail but did not overdue it to the extent of boredom. When people read fiction they want the experience of feeling like they are there. Just keep finding descriptions of detail that triggers the readers senses. Like right now I am thinking of chocolate! I can see it, smell it and taste it though I have not even bought it yet:) Just keep in mind it is easier to make the reader experience something they have actually experienced. When it comes to something less common, pay special attention to the key details to make it come alive. Your little excerpt here scores an A+ in my book!!

Today my step father yelled at me over a merit badge project i am doing for boy scouts. First of all it was, only a segment of the merit badge requirements and he didn't even read what the requirement was. I did it accordingly but he still insists that i did it wrong, WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT WHAT THE REQUIREMENT WAS! He yelled at me for a pretty long time and started saying stuff like, "I could get you up at eight o'clock in the morning and make you work all damn day!" and "You're going to have to start buying your own damn food and clothes! When school comes around you're gonna be buying anything that you wanna wear!". I never tried to provoke any of this, when i showed him my project and told him to read it (which i probably should have asked him to read it.) he flung it away and said "Don't ever throw **** at my face again." I didn't even throw it at his face, i put it on the counter in front of him. I did slam it down but it was at least two feet away from him. I've never really had problems with him before, as long as i stay quiet and do what he says i'm ok. Maybe it was the fact that he's never been so aggressive towards me that made me so comfortable doing what i did. Needless to say though, it scared the **** out of me. Luckily my mom came when she did because it was just getting worse and worse. I've always done what he said because he puts clothes on my back and food on the table, but now he's threatening to deprive me of that. I don't know what to do at this point. I never liked being in boy scouts anyway so i might try and convince my mom to let me quit. If i had never tried to do this merit badge none of this would have happened. I went ahead and burned the packet in my room with a lighter that my biological dad gave me. I see him every now and then during the summer but i don't know him well enough to ask if i can move in. Hello, A little background. Im 14 years old, Im a female. all ya needa know! Ive had this teacher for the last two years and im really good at her subject, like the rest of my class. But she always like, praises me for just finishing my work. She told me once that she loves seeing me walk into her class. Ive seen her literally WATCH me and my friends walk through the school, she was literally staring! A few days ago i was hanging around with my friends and she teaches them also, but she only looked at me and smiled. They were teasing saying, "teachers pet" But i don't act no different to anybody else in the class. Once i finished my work and she just says, " gosh your such a good person". Sometimes she just comes over to me and starts talking about things, school sorta. She told me that i might not be in her class next year and she was quite upset and she like done that thing with her lip, the sad face ha ha!. She always helps me with my work, and before i Just went to but some scrap paper in the bin and when i got back i saw her doing bits of my work and then she winked at me. She always gives me Special achievement stickers, merits. Sometimes after school i walk home, or if im home early from the bus, ill go to the shop for a drink or something and ive seen her drive past, and when she does she smiles at me, but i pretend not to look,lol. She lets me talk to classmates when i want to, not very often because im well behave, but when other pupils talk she disciplines them, but when i do, she usually joins into our conversation or eavesdrops because ive seen her smile when we've spoke about something funny. Tax brackets are based on income not assets. This means that even though someone may have a lot of money, if they aren't making any income they won't be taxed. Hence, if they're making x amount of dollars this year and it isn't in the 20% bracket, they won't be charged that tax rate. If the rich were automatically charged the highest bracket, they would move their businesses to places like Norway where the tax brackets don't exist or are relatively lower.
