Why does Obama make out this debt crisis as a Republican issue?

He forgot about the record setting 1.4 trillion in new debt since he came into office. But liberals refuse to acknowledge that fact. It was all inherited debt, ahem, sorry, Obama and the Dems spent more in 2 1/2 years that almost every administration before them combined.
