Does amazon ship on sundays?

i ordered a blackberry from a person on amazon and i messaged him about the phones ESN. after i got all my questions answered he went on to say that he was gonna ship the phone on the morning of april 10th. do you think the guy made a mistake? iv'e used amazon for 3 years now and iv'e never had something shipped on sunday.Also the seller is sending it from WA and i live in WA so how long do you think it will take? thanks
